A federal jury has convicted a Nevada cop in three casino robberies that netted nearly $165k.
Former officer Caleb Rodgers (35) was convicted of the robberies and is facing a life sentence for the heists he carried out in February of 2022. He carried his state-issued weapon in one of the robberies but did not fire the gun.
Rodgers was dismissed without pay after the charges were brought against him, and the Las Vegas Metropolitan Police Department said that the trial outcome would determine his employment status.
Lloyd Dickerson, one of the jurors in the trial, told the Associated Press, “Everything kind of added up.”
